The Invulnerable Project

Main objective: to support young gypsy people living in social services to protect their rights and to encourage their active participation in the processes that affect them.
Activities:
1. Assessment of the needs and knowledge of young people and volunteers for human rights, normative documents, institutions related to their protection, areas of application, the need for support.
2. Practical training in human rights, opinion and active participation of Gypsy youth from the two services of the association.
3. Selection and involvement of young people and volunteers to support young people.
4. Training of volunteers in understanding human rights, minorities, people with disabilities, normative documents and responsible institutions for the protection of rights, and the specificities of Gypsy youth in social services.
5. Surveying the environment and conducting an advocacy campaign on the issue of protecting the rights of Gypsy youth.

Duration: 12 months

The "INvulnerable" project is implemented with the financial support of EUR 8,727 provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, Active Citizens Fund, www.activecitizensfund.bg.
