On 21 April children from the Shelter visited the Avio-space Museum and Planetarium at the Yurii Gagarin Educational Center in Kamchia Marine Complex. The visit was organized thanks to Tsvetanka Kovacheva PhD from the Technical University - Varna. The show was provided free of charge by the Head of the Center Krasimir Stoyanov, an astronaut double. The children were shown the main exhibits at the Museum, tracing the development of aviation and aerospace as well as the contribution of Bulgarian specialists in this field. The most interesting part of the visit was the Planitarium where on a large hemispherical dome the children watched a film showing the history of astronomy and were acquainted with the constellations , the planets and the first human steps in Space. The animated projections left a deep impression on the visitors.
