There finished the project “Safe environment for children at risk in Varna”, financed by the OAK Foundation-Switzerland. More than 2000 people have been socially supported. More than 500 citizens have been accompanied to institutions for solving everyday issues. 120 children have been taught to read and write in pre-school sessions, the school work of more than 50 pupils in risk of dropping out from school has been supported, 40 young people aged over 16 have been helped to go back to school for completing their education. Monthly meetings with families and parents have been held on site , where everyday issues have been discussed and the best solution has been sought together with the community. More than 300 sessions on preventing violence with 200 children at risk and 50 sessions with 113 parents have been held.
