On 25 September 2015 a working meeting of the first focus group was held by a team from Gavroche Association as part of the project "Evaluation of the impact of NGOs activities in the social sphere", implemented by Opportunity and Protection Association -Haskovo town, in which Gavroche played the role of a pilot organization. On 21 July 2015 in Gavroche a working meeting was held as part of the project “Assessing the impact of NGO activities in the social sphere” implemented by the “Chance for protection” Association-Haskovo. At a formal ceremony, organized by the “Yes” Association together with the “A future for you” Association and Varna Municipality Assoc. Prof. Penka Stoyanova, PhD was awarded the prize “Dignified citizen of Varna” for her socially significant contribution for our city.

In June there started the summer camps for the children from the Home and CWCP. The Elena Balkan mountain and the Gavroche National centre were again made noisy by cheerful children voices owing to donors. Every day there were walks in the open, picking herbs and wild fruit, as well as visits to various interesting places.

From March until June the Gavroche Association accepted three Finnish students as part of an exchange of TU-Varna. During the time they spent with the children the trainees participated actively in work with children, helped the literacy process in CWCP and got familiar with the specifics of field work and helping children in risk. At the end we organized a joyful farewell party for our new friends.
